Support The King’s Consort

Over thirty-four years The King's Consort has generated a world-class reputation for its musical excellence and vitality, touring widely and selling in excess of 1,500,000 CDs.

TKC receives no state or regional subsidy for its work and relies on the generosity of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations to raise the substantial sums needed to enable its internationally-acclaimed musical work to take place. By donating to TKC’s parent charity, Vivat Music Foundation, you can help to support future concerts, tours, TKC’s “Emerging Artists” scheme and future recordings.

In return you will gain benefits and exclusive insights into the work of this renowned orchestra. Major donors additionally enjoy unique access to the artists and the organisation, and share in the future plans and activities of TKC. Your donation goes straight into world-class music making.

TKC’s recording label VIVAT launched in 2013 with a major recording, "I was glad", the Sacred Music of Stanford and Parry, which was a finalist in the 2013 Gramophone Awards. This has been followed by recordings of Couperin’s vividly atmospheric Trois Leçons de Ténèbres with Carolyn Sampson and Marianne Beate Kielland, Beethoven Quartets played by the Allegri Quartet, a wonderful disc of Monteverdi madrigals, an acclaimed recording of Handel arias with countertenor Iestyn Davies, Purcell chamber music with The King's Consort, and Bach's Six Cello Suites with Dutch cellist Viola de Hoog.

Our recordings are enabled by generous support from individuals, trusts, foundations and benefactors.
